Certificates
All production, administrative and design processes are certified by the ISO 9001 standard, which means that the quality of its processes is guaranteed. With regard to product quality, IDE also has all the necessary certificates to be able to operate in the national and international markets. For metal and stainless steel enclosures, it has the UL NEMAS 1, 12.4 and 4x standards, as well as Bureau Veritas for the marine sector; for enclosures intended for potentially explosive atmospheres it has the ATEX (Ex) certificate; it holds the VDE certificate for plastic boxes and power sockets; and its boxes and cabinets for the telecommunications sector are manufactured in accordance with the new REBT RD46/2011 regulation.
Key sectors
The fact that all its output is endorsed by the sector’s most prestigious international certificates has enabled IDE to participate as an approved supplier in highly-industrialised and highly-demanding areas such as the rail, marine, photovoltaic and wind energy sectors. This is also the case with the leading European automotive companies, in the food sector thanks to its new line of stainless steel enclosures, in the petrochemical sector with its comprehensive range of ATEX cabinets, and what is more in the public works sector, where it has always had a presence working with Adif. It has now also gone global, participating in iconic constructions such as the Panama canal and underground, and the Medina-Mecca high speed railway. Its metal, stainless steel and ATEX enclosures have always measured up to the needs of iconic and major projects such as those mentioned above. Its site panels have also protected the building of major public works projects the world over.
